Refund policy
Full refund any time before your letter prints — and printing usually happens the next business day, so there’s a real window to change your mind. If the IRS ever rejects a form we mailed, we re-mail it free or refund you in full. Filling in and downloading your form is free, so a refund only ever concerns the optional mailing fee.
The guarantee, in full
- Before it prints — full refund, no reason needed. Until your form enters printing (usually the next business day), you can cancel for a complete refund. That’s the entire queue window.
- Caught a typo after paying? Email us. Fixing it is free before the form prints, and we’ll do one free re-mail if it already went out — because we never keep your SSN or signature, a correction means filling in a fresh one, which we’ll mail again.
- IRS rejects a form we mailed? That’s rare for a change of address, but if it happens we re-mail it free or refund you in full — your choice.
- Once it’s mailed and accepted, the service has been delivered (we printed and mailed your form to the IRS), so refunds after that point are for the rejection case above.
How to request a refund or cancel
Two easy ways:
- Email support@taxaddresschange.com with the email address you used at checkout — a human answers within one business day.
- Use the cancel link on your order’s status page (sent to you by email) any time before the form prints.
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. Full terms are in our Terms; how mailing and tracking work is on the pricing page.
That’s the whole policy. Fill in the official form in about a minute.
